6. How We Share Personal Information, and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do use advertising, analytics, and social media technologies on our website. These technologies disclose online identifiers and browsing activity to third parties so that we can measure the performance of our marketing and show you advertising relevant to your interests. Under some privacy laws these disclosures are treated as a "sale" of personal information, or as "sharing" for cross context behavioral advertising, and we treat them that way.

How to opt out of targeted advertising. Use the Privacy Preferences link in our website footer and turn off Targeting Cookies, or select Reject All. An opt out applies to the browser and device you are using, so you will need to repeat it on each browser and device you use.

Separately, we disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Payment processing. Our payment processor, for authorization, settlement, refunds, and fraud screening.
  • Ecommerce and hosting. Our ecommerce platform and hosting providers.
  • Order management and manufacturing. Our enterprise resource planning and production systems.

  • Professional advisors. Accountants, auditors, insurers, and attorneys.
  • Legal and safety. Law enforcement, regulators, or others where required by law or necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Service providers are permitted to use personal information only to perform services for us and are bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

If you would like further detail about the specific recipients of your personal information, contact us using the details in Section 15 and we will provide it where we are able to do so.

7. International Transfers

We are located in the United States, and personal information we collect is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards using the contact details in Section 15.

8. How Long We Keep Personal Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, and then for the period required by tax, accounting, warranty, and legal recordkeeping obligations, or by any applicable limitations period.

Order and transaction records are generally retained for at least seven (7) years. Records supporting a lifetime warranty claim, including the original purchase record, are retained for as long as necessary to administer that warranty. Graphics files are retained according to the storage election on your order, and rental graphics are retained per the Rental Terms and Conditions. Marketing contact records are retained until you opt out and then for the period necessary to honor your opt out. Website analytics data is retained for the period configured in the relevant tool.

9. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including transport encryption, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Everyone. You may contact us at any time to ask about the personal information we hold, request a correction, or request deletion. We will respond to all requests, and we will apply the rights below to any request where they are required by law.

EEA, UK, and Swiss residents. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information and receive a copy
  • Have inaccurate personal information corrected
  • Have personal information erased in certain circumstances
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Receive your personal information in a portable format and have it transmitted to another controller
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling
  • Object to direct marketing at any time
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office

US state residents. Where a state privacy law applies to you, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, access it, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How to make a request. Email [email protected] or write to us at the address in Section 15. Include enough information for us to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we may decline a request we cannot verify. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits, with proof of authorization.

Timing. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, generally forty five (45) days for US state requests and one (1) month for GDPR and UK GDPR requests. We may extend that period where permitted, and will tell you if we do.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision in writing within a reasonable time. We will respond to the appeal within sixty (60) days and, if we deny the appeal, will provide information on how to contact the relevant regulator.

11. Marketing Communications

If you provide your email address to us, including through an order, contest, promotion, support request, or form, we may add you to our email newsletter list.

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email we send. You may also unsubscribe by sending an email to [email protected] with "REMOVE" in the subject line, followed by the exact email address you wish to be removed.

Please allow two business days for your request to be processed. If you continue to receive marketing emails after unsubscribing, the most common reason is that the address receiving them is different from the address you asked us to remove. If that happens, send your name and the exact address that is receiving the emails to [email protected] and we will resolve it.

Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about orders, rentals, proofs, or shipments.

12. Children

Our website and products are directed to businesses and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen (16). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third Party Websites

Our site links to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them. Review the privacy policy of any third party site before providing personal information.

14. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the "last updated" date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Prior versions are archived and available on request.
